Julia Richie Sammin concentrates her practice in general corporate law. Ms. Sammin's experience includes mergers, acquisitions, loan transactions, debt restructurings, private equity portfolio company acquisition financings and restructurings, securities matters, and commercial contracts. Immediately prior to joining Semanoff Ormsby Greenberg & Torchia, LLC, Ms. Sammin worked for several years as an in-house attorney for a pharmaceutical company and a medical device company.

Ms. Sammin graduated from Yale University in 2000 with a B.A. in sociology and continued her education at The George Washington University Law School, graduating with honors in 2005. At The George Washington University Law School, Ms. Sammin was an Articles Editor for the Public Contract Law Journal, and a Dean's Fellow.

Following law school, Ms. Sammin was a law clerk to the Honorable Peter B. Krauser of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. She is currently a member of the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia, a large community chorus that performs all over the Philadelphia region.
